I am currently looking for a ACI Network Engineer to join the world’s leading vendor, working on flexible hybrid model onsite in Midrand and remote working, on a 9 month extendable contract.

Job Description

Malfunction Processes

• Performing pre-TAC checks
• Following up the opened cases and transferring the structure and problem to the relevant engineer
• Testing the solution delivered after the opened cases on LAB equipment, if necessary.
• Being able to provide 24/7 support in case of malfunctions

Planned Studies

• Preparation of pre-check, post-check and MOP documents
• Providing onsite support when necessary
• Providing support in case of problems arising during planned work

Daily Operation

• Adapting the existing structure and configurations to Best Practices and periodic monitoring
• According to the equipment used, Hardware
• Software LDOS, Bug, Field Notice follow-up and action steps are created if necessary.

Pro-actively monitoring the Syslog of the devices by the relevant monitoring systems and offering solution suggestions

Integration and development of Data Center devices into monitoring systems

• Development of automation processes compatible with VFTR Digitalization targets on the DC network level
• Documenting the service architecture of the services provided via VFTR DC.

Design

• Communicating new service requests from VFTR stakeholder teams through Planning, examining the design from an Operational perspective and revealing the feasibility.
• Providing design and protocol suggestions based on the operational perspective that will increase the efficiency of the services on behalf of the VFTR DC network.

Migration Progress

• Taking an active role in the technical management of the process with all components receiving service through VFTR DC
